Also called Inventory Turns. A measure of how frequently stock is turned over in relation to annual sales turnover of a product. Stock Turn = (annual sales turnover)/(value of raw materials + WIP + finished goods). Units are per year. A high value is good as it indicates low inventory. Varies enormously across different industries. ST Is roughly the reciprocal of lead time.
