For more than two decades, Mohammed has had experience working in diverse industries. He worked in air conditioning, steel manufacturing, ERP solutions, courier and shipping, and FMCG. His key roles embraced transitioning business processes from less-efficient to efficient and effective using methodologies and techniques of Process Improvement, Quality Management, Project Management, and Information Technology.

His passion for business excellence is the propelling power towards creating and deploying sustainable, efficient systems. Leveraged with analytical mindset, Mohammed adopts Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and Theory of Constraints to create a road map of excellence fitted to the business environment.

With the breadth of improvement tools and techniques, he also hones the skills of process analysis, requirements elicitation, gap analysis, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and data analysis.

Mohammed believes in the mantra that most complex problems have simple solutions. Proper stakeholder analysis, root cause analysis, data analysis, fact-based decisions, team buy-in, and top management commitment are the recipe for a successful project and breakthrough solutions.

Barakat managed several improvement projects in Jordan, UAE, KSA, UK, Ireland, and Turkey to boost efficiency, to make processes lean, and to reduce variability. As Data Scientist Mohammed strives to hone his analytical and predictive skills in the extraction of knowledge and insights out of raw data.

Barakat is a Consultant Engineer in Industrial Engineering (JCE), a Project and Risk Management Professional (PMP, PMI-RMP), and a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB). He is a proficient trainer accredited by Microsoft (MCT), and is also a speaker in national and international professional and business gatherings. He was named a winner of the ASQ MEA Quality Professionals Award for the year 2018 in Jordan.
